CVA Library
The Library offers students a comfortable setting for research and study.
The collection consists of over 7,600 books, 33,700 slides, and 250 video
recordings. The Library currently receives 40 journals, with over 4,000 back
issues, and has a Special Collection of rare monographs and 155 Artists' Books.
Students have access to many online databases, including Alexandria (the
CVA Library online catalog), Art Index Full Text, Dictionary of Art,
Ebsco Academic Search Premier and ARTstor (image database).
Computers with word-processing and Internet connections make the Library an ideal
spot for writing papers, doing research and checking e-mail.
The Library staff is
available to assist students with their research, including processing interlibrary
loan requests to other libraries for books or articles not available at CVA.
