After submitting her work Crossroads, alumna Keri Huber ’00 became a winner in Talenthouse’s “Collaborate on a Collage for U2’s Achtung Baby” Creative Invite. Keri was specifically chosen by frequent U2 collaborators and creative minds Anton Corbijn and Shaughn McGrath to collaboratively re-imagine the album artwork for Achtung Baby as a reflection of current events.
As Keri describes the work, "Subtle references to the album are throughout. The map can be viewed as topography (“Trying to Throw Your Arms Around the World”) or a route (“Zoo Station”). The vertical line of dots have numerous meanings: they hint at train stops (“Zoo Station”); the images from the album cover of the buttons on Edge’s pants, and Larry standing in front of fruit; the microphone used on the 360 Tour when Bono sang “Ultraviolet,” even One.org.
