Larson Interns at Jungle Theater

Senior Nicole Larson completed her internship in the Spring and Summer of 2011 assisting notable Costume Designer, Kathy Kohl. Kohl and Larson worked together to design and create costumes for the production A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum. The Jungle Theater put their spin on this 2000-year old comedy written by Roman playwright Plautus. The show ran from June 10-July 31 and was completely sold out.

Nicole spent her hours at the theater working with Kohl to make her costume ideas into dresses, sashes, shoes, tunics, hats, and several wigs. In addition, Nicole also took on the huge task of organizing the costume and prop room which she said gave her a great deal of insight into costume history.
