This exhibition features three artists working with various techniques and materials, whose work differs in scale, dimensionality, and concept, but all plying their fibers over and under to develop unique pieces. Kelly Marshall creates handwoven textiles combining art and function for the home. Mary Giles creates sculptural fiber forms using coiling, a traditional basket technique, which are her personal responses to the natural environment. Nancy MacKenzie stitches, twists, and ties three-dimensional constructions, mostly of recycled materials, for walls and wearables.

This exhibition is running concurrently with Confluence, the 2011 International Surface Design Association Conference in Minneapolis - Saint Paul, Minnesota which takes place from June 4 - 17, 2011.
