The College of Visual Arts, in partnership with AIGA Minnesota, was proud to present the fourth annual CVA Leaders of Design Series. The Series featured a lecture presentation by John Christakos and Maurice Blanks, founders of Blu Dot Design & Manufacturing and an exhibition featuring Blu Dot’s designs, furniture, concepts, and personality.

There's no “I” in design. That’s the philosophy at Blu Dot, the award-winning Minneapolis furniture company. This refreshing point of view inspires great design — and focuses founders John Christakos and Maurice Blanks on what’s really important: collaboration, camaraderie, and clarity of form.
