CVA's college work-study program provides paid jobs for students to use toward their educational and cost of living expenses. In addition, student employees gain professional experience, develop leadership skills, and augment their classroom education.
Student employment is not expected to be a primary source of income. Work-study students are limited to a maximum of 15 hours of work per week. Students are paid on a monthly basis by check (work-study funds are not directly applied to tuition).
CVA offers need-based student employment (funded through federal and state sources, eligibility is based on the results of the FAFSA) and non-need based student employment (funded by CVA, no FAFSA is required).
CVA is now offering direct deposit. Learn more.
