health & wellness

Here at CVA we recognize that health and wellness are important components of student success. We also recognize that a rigorous academic schedule does not leave much room for constant and conscious healthy lifestyles. CVA tries to help students lead balanced lives by providing opportunities for physical and mental health.

The director for student life provides student-centered support and referral services, is a confidential resource for students, and is available for a range of student-services.

COUNSELING AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS

There is an independent, confidential resource for professional emotional support regarding CVA’s plans to close the college. Please contact Psychologist Dr. Greg A. Stern, PsyD, LP, at 366 Selby Avenue, Suite 306, (651) 208-9611. Dr. Stern will conduct Process Group sessions for interested students in the afternoon on January 22, 2013. After that, students may call him for an appointment. CVA will cover the cost of the first visit to Dr. Stern’s office.
