Creating a Digital Portfolio

Saturday, February 20, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This one-day workshop provides the tips, tricks and techniques to digitally document your artwork like a pro. In our photo studio, you learn how to feature your work through photography. Training in our Mac Pro lab provides an understanding of basic photo-correcting techniques. At the end of the day, you leave with a disk that provides a digital inventory of 10 pieces of artwork and, most importantly, a working knowledge of how to document your work for a professional portfolio. Fee: $55 for the day. Space is limited.

Drawing and Financial Aid Workshop - free

Saturday, March 13, 9:30 a.m. to noon
Join us for our annual free Drawing Workshop. You will have the opportunity to work on your drawing skills with CVA faculty and current students and to learn about the College.

During the workshop, an optional admissions and financial aid session, and student-led campus tour will be available for family and friends.

All attendees will  view the 2010 Perspectives in Fine Arts Exhibition in the CVA Gallery, Generation Abstraction: Selections from the Minnesota Museum of American Art.
