The College of Visual Arts is pleased  to host three annual high school art exhibitions in the CVA Gallery.

Minnesota State Visual Art Exhibition

Reception: May 19, 2012, 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.

In partnership with the Art Educators of Minnesota and the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL), CVA hosts an annual exhibition featuring the work of “Spotlight on The Arts” Award winners from the Minnesota State High School League Visual Arts Festivals. Learn more

Fourth Congressional District Art Competition

Reception: May 7, 2012, 5:50 p.m.

Congresswoman Betty McCollum invites high school students from grades 9 – 12 to participate in the annual Fourth Congressional District Art Competition. Winning entries are displayed as part of a national exhibition in the U.S. Capitol. Runners-up are displayed in Congresswoman McCollum’s congressional offices in Saint Paul and in Washington, D.C. Saint Paul Public Schools Honors Art Exhibition

Reception: May 24, 2012, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Saint Paul Public Schools, the Ordway Center, and the College of Visual Arts host the Saint Paul Public Schools Honors Art Exhibition featuring the visual artists’ creations selected from original paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures and other works submitted by students every spring. The Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards (MSAA)

MSAA recognizes many of our state’s most creative teenagers and offers scholarship opportunities for graduating high school seniors. It’s open to all Minnesota students in grades 7 through 12.
